Minimum of 4 years in the culinary department of a luxury hotel or restaurant and / or a culinary degree
Solid knowledge of Gastronomy including some Asian Cuisine
Able to expedite service and stay organized in a busy restaurant
Working knowledge of mathematics for recipes, and ordering
Ability to dictate responsibility, pay attention to detail, handle multiple tasks and show a high level of patience
Able to work within the guidelines of the Companies Fire, Life and Safety Program and transfer the knowledge to Colleagues.
Strong creativity
Quality driven with a passion for excellence.
Must possess excellent organizational and administrative skills, interpersonal skills and leadership skills.
Approachable, open-minded and fair
Flexible work hours to meet the demands of a 24 hour operation.
High energy
Able to work with colleagues and guide them as required
Basic computer knowledge to do ordering, using ADP & HOTSOS.
Servsafe certificated
Working knowledge of computers and basic software


Advanced HACCP certification or equivalent
Additional languages
Working knowledge of computers and basic software
Knowledge of other cuisines is a plus
Knowledge of Morton Bay Bay ordering system
