Tasks as IT Administrator for Dextra Group

Weekly IT change management

Primary contact point for system and network changes for production, testing and development environments
Submit change requests for weekly reviews with your manager
Schedule and plan your work for a weekly change deployment cycle
Ensure that the required resources (hardware, licenses, supplier man-days, …) are available
Ensure that the ITS policies and procedures are followed when executing changes
Escalate issues to your manager, or partners if required
Control with requesters that their change is completed
Analyse requests and propose change automation when appropriate
Analyse requests and propose system and network projects

Day-to-day IT administration

Track and monitor the system backups, conduct restore tests, restore end-user or system data
Track the monitoring alerts, investigate the issue and raise an incident if appropriate
Notify the Support Supervisor of incidents, user impact and estimated time to resolve
Provide 3rd level technical support on tickets escalated by the Support Supervisor
Escalate incidents to your manager, or system and network partners if required
Ensure that incidents are resolved within the timeframe of the service level agreements
Control with the Support Supervisor that incidents are resolved
Analyze incidents and open problems if needed
Analyze incidents and submit corrective change requests

Day-to-day preventive maintenance

Automate daily, monthly and quarterly preventive maintenance procedures
Schedule weekly software updates testing and deployment for user computers
Schedule other preventive maintenance tasks with IT Specialists in Thailand and abroad
Control that automated maintenance is running properly
Control that IT Specialists follow the appropriate maintenance procedures
Provide 2nd level support and expertise on automation and scripting
Escalate preventive maintenance issues to internal teams, or partners
Control that services are operating correctly after preventive maintenance
Analyze preventive maintenance reports and open problems if needed
Analyze preventive maintenance reports and submit corrective change requests

Regular Updates to Procedures and Documentation

Review weekly and schedule your changes and project tasks
Review monthly document the modifications needed for preventive maintenance procedures, system and network inventories, system and network monitoring
Review quarterly the system and network documentation, consolidate and update technical design and administration documentation
Review and reconcile monthly the service accounts and security groups of Active Directory, Office 365
Review and reconcile monthly the server lists of Active Directory, K1000, Office Scan, WSUS, DNS, ITS SharePoint tool
Review and reconcile monthly the network lists of K1000, Office Scan, DNS, ITS SharePoint tool
Update quarterly the preventive maintenance procedures
Review twice a year the system and network latest software/firmware, issue release notes and submit upgrade change requests if appropriate


Male, Age 25 – 35 Years Old
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or any discipline.
3-7 years’ experience as system and network
Good communication skills in English language
Initiative and creative thinking
Able to work under pressure in a multinational working environment
Fast learner and willing to learn
Service mind
Have knowledge of ITTL V3 Foundation
